Requiring focus, strength, stamina, and commitment, we know this yogi push up is a powerful pose. When done with attentive alignment along with the breath, it builds muscles from the wrists and hands, to the arms, upper back and throughout the core. When done repeatedly in misalignment over time, Chaturanga Dandasana is one of the primary poses that can contribute to strain or injuries in yogis.
